HOGARTH P. GILLIGAN JR

The engines don't talk back. That's why Hogarth Pennywhistle Gilligan Jr. prefers their company these days. MIT's top graduate left the awards on the shelf and enlisted, trading lecture halls for fighter jets and the open sky. Now he spends his hours in abandoned hangars, surrounded by decommissioned planes and spare parts, hands busy tinkering with things that no longer fly. But some projects aren't about the past. Beneath the dust and grease, a stockpile grows—tools, tech, and things his team doesn't even know they'll need yet. He wasn't ready last time. He won't make that mistake again.
